Álftanes

�?lftanes is a low-lying peninsula which extrudes from the eastern part of Reykjanes, located in the Greater Reykjavík Area.

The municipality of Bessastaðahreppur is located on �?lftanes, as is the residence of the President of Iceland, Bessastaðir.
