Zhuanghe (Simplified Chinese: 庄河; Traditional Chinese: 莊河), is a county ruled by Dalian.
Zhuanghe is an important district of Dalian City, located in the western Dalian of the Liaoning Province of People's Republic of China.
A base of the national commodity grain, Zhuanghe has very abundant agricultural and natural resourses. Besides, it is one of the most important fruit bases in eastern Liaodong Peninsula. With 215-kilometre coastline, the Zhuanghe Seaport is under construction. There are also many natural and historical resorts in Zhuanghe, such as the Chengshan Gucheng(Chengshan Acient Town), Bingyu Valley, Buyunshan Hot Spring and so on. The tourism is gradually developed to be rising support structure in the county.
Zhuanghe is also increasingly promoting its furniture manufacturing industry. The Huafeng Furniture Manufacturing Company has been one of the largest funiture manufacturing companies all over the country.
Zhuanghe has a population of 900,000 and its area is 3866 square kilometres.
