Yilan City

Yilan City (宜蘭市; Taiwanese POJ: Gî-lân-chhī), commonly and historically spelled Ilan or I-lan (Wade-Giles), is the capital of Yilan County in the Taiwan Province of the Republic of China. It is on the north side of Lanyang River. The first Han Chinese settled there in 1802.
