Weldiya

Weldiya (also spelled Woldia) is a hillside market town located in the Amhara Region (or kilil) of Ethiopia. Located north of Dessie and southeast of Lalibela, at 11° 50' N and 39° 41' E. As of 1994, the town had a population of 24,533.
