KNOWLEDGE OF Victoria Point

Victoria Point is a 42 storey residential tower at Melbourne Docklands (harbour esplanade) built by Queensland based J. Devine Holdings Group.
Victoria Point is a Bayside Suburb 31km East of Brisbane, Queensland (Australia), with a ferry service to Coochiemudlo island.

The main Point area has two boat ramps for the local boaties, and a Volunteer Marine Rescue unit is based at the point.

Beach areas include Thompson's Beach, a small child safe beach, wih no real waves, and a very slight slope into the water, so kids can seem to go out for ages without the water reaching their waist.

Shopping facilities have expanded rapidly in the last few years, and now with four Supermarkets, and many speciality shops, is a thriving shopping centre of its own. A Public Library and a Cinema Complex are also in the planning stages, as at 2005.

Victoria Point is in the Redland Council area.
