Usulután

Usulután is the the 4th largest city in El Salvador, and capital of, Usulután Department in the south-east of El Salvador. As of 2005, it is estimated to have population of around 45,000 people.

Usulutan rests in a rich agricultural valley.

The city was badly damaged by the Salvadoran earthqukes of February 2001, and Hurricane Mitch in 1998.
