St-Sauveur, Quebec is a small city in the Laurentian mountains about 45 mn north of Montreal. On September 11, 2002 the city was created from the merger of Village de St-Sauveur-des-monts and Paroisse de St-Sauveur. It is known for its ski resort.
Population is estimated 8,869 (City of St-Sauveur stats) and the village covers 48 km².
St. Sauveur is well known for it's local ski hills which market themselves jointly under the name of "Valley of Saint-Sauveur".
