Saint-Eustache is a city in western Quebec, west of Montreal on the southwestern end of the Rivière des Mille-Îles. Population (2001 census) 40,378.
The city was founded in 1770 and incorporated in 1835.[1]
A significant battle of the Lower Canada Rebellion was fought here on December 14, 1837; the rebels were defeated and the town burnt.
The Autodrome Saint-Eustachehosts various stock-car racing, locals drag racing and others race competitions.
