Ponoka

Ponoka is a town in the province of Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the south/central parkland region of rolling hills. Industries are agriculture, (grain and cattle production) and oil and gas production. Ponoka is located at the junction of highways 2A and 53, approximately 50 km north of the city of Red Deer.

The town is the seat of government for the County of Ponoka.
