Ordos City

The City of Ordos (Chinese: 鄂尔多斯市; Pinyin: È'Ä›rduÅ?sÄ« shì) is located in the southwestern Ordos plateau, in Inner Mongolia, China.

Its total area is 87,428km2 and has a population of 1.28 million. It has seven Banners and one county-level city under its jurisdiction - Dongsheng, also its capital.
