Oberá is a city in Misiones Province, Argentina. It is the capital of Oberá Deparment, also known as the "Capital del Monte" (Capital of the Forest), and is located 96 km east of Posadas.

Is the second city in size and importance of the province and capital of "Región de las Sierras Centrales" (Central Mountain Region), when being surrounded by a frame by exuberante vegetation, streams, cascades and mountainous areas that give a colorful landscape him. It is a modern city, that counts on a variety of services, standing out the transport and the commerce, counting on a good hotel profession and services of gastronomy. It represents the educative and cultural pole of the "Center Zone", since it counts on faculties and tertiary races. There is also denominated the City of the Churches, since it lodges in his sine more than 30 temples for 60,000 inhabitants. Is located on National Route 14, to 95 km of the airport of Posadas and to 1150 km to the north of Buenos Aires (the access is direct with several daily frequencies of omnibus).
