Nampula

Nampula is the capital city of Nampula Province in Mozambique. It has a population of 314,965 (1997 census), making it largest town in northern Mozambique. It is home to the Mozambique National Ethnographic Museum, a market, a cathedral and a mosque. A railway line runs from the town to Cuamba.
