Moji das Cruzes

Moji das Cruzes, erroneously but frequently called Mogi das Cruzes, is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. Moji das Cruzes was colonized by large numbers of Japanese immigrants. The city is located 40 Km to the east of São Paulo, the state capital.

This suburban city is connected to other cities through CPTM's E Line.

Moji das Cruzes has two big universities, and is part of the Cinturão Verde (Green Belt).

The Moji das Cruzes industrial park has more than 400 factories, located mostly in the Itapeti's industrial district.
