Mnichovo Hradiste

Mnichovo Hradiště (in German Münchengrätz) is a town in Central Bohemia, Czech Republic. Population: 8,500.

The town was first mentioned in 1279. There is a renaissance castle which once belonged to the Wallenstein family where are the remains of the famous military leader Albrecht von Wallenstein.
