Meishan

Meishan (Chinese: 眉山; Hanyu Pinyin: MéishÄ?n; Wade-Giles: Mei-shan), formerly known as Meizhou (眉州), is a prefecture-level city with more than 100,000 inhabitants in Sichuan province of the People's Republic of China. Meishan is in the southwest of Sichuan Bassin.

Meishan is the seat of Meishan prefecture. Liu Hanyuan, one of the ten richest private persons in the People's Republic of China is a native of Meishan.
