Malle

Malle is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Oostmalle and Westmalle. On January 1, 2005 Malle had a total population of 14,150. The total area is 51.99 km² which gives a population density of 272.19 inhabitants per km².

A military airfield is located south on the territory of Oostmalle, close to the hamlet of Salfen, this airfield is currently used for recreational purposes, there was some talk of using this airfield as an alternative for the Airport in Deurne should it have to close.

Westmalle is primarily known for its abbey. The Trappist monks operate a brewery and make cheese.
