Lujhou City

Lujhou (蘆洲, Postal System Pinyin: Luchou, pinyin: LúzhÅ?u, Taiwanese: Lô·-chiu) is a city in the northwestern part of Taipei County, Taiwan Province of the Republic of China. Historically called LÅ?·-chiu (鷺州) and Hê-siÅ«â?¿-chiu (和尚州).

Population: 177,232 people (2003)
Households: 53923 houses (2003).

Lujhou Line of the Taipei Rapid Transit System is under construction.
