Lokeren

Lokeren is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Lokeren proper and the towns of Daknam and Eksaarde. On January 1st, 2005 Lokeren had a total population of 37,515. The total area is 67.50 km² which gives a population density of 555.80 inhabitants per km². Until Octobre 2006 the mayor will be Anthuenis Filip.

The best football club of the city is K.S.C. Lokeren Oost-Vlaanderen.
