Lanskroun

Lanškroun (German: Landskron) is a town and municipality in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. On the border between the former provinces of Bohemia and Moravia, it had a population of 9,847 as of 2003.

The town was founded in the 13th century as the center of the estate of Lanškroun and Lanšperk. Along with Landskron, it has also been known in historical documents as Lanskron, Landeskrone, and Kronland.
