Kumbo

Kumbo, also known as Bonso, is the second-largest city in the North-West Province of Cameroon, lying about 2000m above sea level. It has a population of 116,500 (2001 estimate) and is the main city of the Banso people. Located on the "ring road", one of the main routes of the province, it is known for horse racing and traditional medicine, and for its palace, market and two hospitals.
