Kiuruvesi

Kiuruvesi is a municipality of Finland located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the Northern Savonia region. The municipality has a population of 9,988 (2003) and covers an area of 1,422.97 km² of which 91.93 km² is water. The population density is 7.0 inhabitants per km².

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
