Jinzhong

Jinzhong (Chinese: 晋中; pinyin: JìnzhÅ?ng) is a prefecture-level city with several 100,000 inhabitants in the northern half of Shanxi province of the People's Republic of China.

Jinzhong is the seat of Jinzhong prefecture. Jinzhong is assigned 晋K licence plate. For the Jinzhong catholic bishopric, the first bishop after a vacancy of 40 years was consecrated in 1999.
