Houffalize

Houffalize is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. On January 1, 2005 Houffalize had a total population of 4,688. The total area is 166.58 km² which gives a population density of 28.14 inhabitants per km². During WWII, Generals Montgomery and Patton met up in this town, Montgomery from the north and General Patton from the south, in a counter-attack against the German forces remaing in the area.
