Grimbergen is a municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant, in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium. The municipality comprises the towns of Beigem, Grimbergen, Humbeek and Strombeek-Bever. On January 1, 2005 Grimbergen had a total population of 33,571. The total area is 38.59 km² which gives a population density of 869.92 inhabitants per km².
Grimbergen is also the name of the Belgian beer first brewed at the abbey in Grimbergen.
The main football club used to be K.F.C. Strombeek and is now named F.C. Molenbeek Brussels Strombeek which is located in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean.
