Eeklo

Eeklo is a municipality in the province of East Flanders, in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium. The municipality only comprises the city of Eeklo proper. On January 1st, 2005 Eeklo had a total population of 19,353. The total area is 30.05 km² which gives a population density of 644.11 inhabitants per km².

It is twinned with the town of Newbury in the United Kingdom.
