Cartago

Cartago is a city in Colombia, about 125 miles west of Bogotá. It is within the Valle del Cauca department and is located very close (20 minutes) drive from Pereira. It is the third largest city in Valle after Cali and Tuluá.

It features warm weather >27 degrees Celsius on a typical day, and is home to multiple farmhouses, recreational sites, discos and condos frequented by people coming from Pereira.

Artesanías (handcrafted products) are sold in several street stores in the city.
