Boundiali

Boundiali is a town in northern Côte d'Ivoire, based on the cotton industry. It is a centre for Senoufo people and is known for crafts. There are also Makinkés coming from Mali, Guinea and Burkina Faso and some Peuls, totalling around 50,000 people.

The writer Ahmadou Kourouma was born in Boundiali.
