Beli Manastir (Hungarian: Pélmonostor) is a town in eastern Croatia, the principal town of the Croatian part of Baranja, in the Osijek-Baranja county. The town has a population of 8,671 (2001), total municipality population is 10,986.
The name means "white monastery" in Serbian; it was so renamed in 1918 when Serbia acquired it. Since then a large part of the population has been ethnic Serb, in addition to Magyars, Germans and Croats.
