Alore is a village in the Chiplun subdivision of Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra, India. It lies on a bypass of the state highway linking Chiplun to Kolhapur.
Most of the inhabitants work at the nearby Kolkiwadi Dam, one of the four dams of the Koyna power project. Alore has a mixed Hindu and Muslim population.
A government guesthouse is the only lodging in this village. Alore's economy is based mainly catering to the nearby Rajaram Shinde College of Engineering. It is located 12 kilometres east of Chiplun, the nearest town.
Marathi is the most common language spoken here.
