Alken

Alken is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg near Hasselt. On January 1, 2005 Alken had a total population of 11,034 (5,579 males and 5,455 females). The total area is 28.14 km² which gives a population density of 392.11 inhabitants per km².
