Alagna Valsesia

Alagna Valsesia is a small village in the province of Piedmont (Italy), originally settled by Walser. Located at an altitude of 1.205m just south of the Monte Rosa it offers plenty of opportunities for mountaineering and winter sports. It is internationally renowned as a mecca for off-piste skiing. A cable car ascends up to the Punta Indren at 3.260m offering various demanding ungroomed slopes.
