According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.6 km² (1.8 mi²). 4.6 km² (1.8 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
As of the census of 2000, there are 1,910 people, 632 households, and 470 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 414.3/km² (1,074.2/mi²). There are 722 housing units at an average density of 156.6/km² (406.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 28.17% White, 0.99% African American, 0.58% Native American, 15.18% Asian, 13.87% Pacific Islander, 0.84% from other races, and 40.37% from two or more races. 20.52% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 632 households out of which 43.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.0% are married couples living together, 19.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.6% are non-families. 18.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.02 and the average family size is 3.39.
