Adygeysk

Adygeysk (Russian: Ð?дыгеÌ?йÑ?к) is a town in the Republic of Adygea, Russia. The town is in direct jurisdiction of the republic. Adygeysk is located at 44°53′N 39°11′E. According to the 2002 Census, the population of Adygeysk was 12,209.

Adygeysk was founded in 1969. It was renamed Teuchezhsk (ТеучеÌ?жÑ?к) in 1976, but the original name was returned in 1992.
