Abohar

Abohar (Hindi: अबोहर) is a city in Firozpur district in Punjab (India), located on the Ganganagar to Delhi railway route, nearly 50 Km from Ganganagar. Its population as of 2001 is 124,303. This city is also known as the California of Punjab for its rich soil, good irrigation sources, and particularly for 'Kinoo,' a fruit of orange family.
