Aberporth is a small town on the West Wales coast. It lies at the southern end of Cardigan Bay about seven miles north of Cardigan and ten miles south of New Quay.
It is located at 52°8′4″N, 4°32′45″W.
It was once a fishing village, but the main industry is now tourism.
Near Aberporth lies Aberporth Airport, a site used for testing rockets by the British military, as well as for launching civil rockets for atmospheric research. This site is being developed for domestic flights within Wales and the rest of the United Kingdom.
